My goal is to create beautiful art, using a computer as a tool. Rather than using a series of brushes, I "paint" using a mouse on a computer. Art is created using vector graphics software called Inkscape. This is not computer-generated art, nor is it AI assisted. Full control is maintained over every element from the initial composition to the final piece - no automatic computations are employed. The computer is used as a tool to help create and replicate lines, curves, shading, colors, etc. My objective is not to replicate existing art on a computer, but to create exciting and unique art using the computer's mouse similar to working with paint brushes.

Stephen Quiller

Stephen Quiller is an internationally known painter and is a Dolphin Fellow and signature member of the American Water-color Society, the National Watercolor Society, and others. He received the 2018 Silver Medal and the 2014 Gold Medal of Honor at the American Watercolor Society's International Exhibitions as well as many other honors. Known for water media and color, Stephen has written seven best selling books on these subjects. He has signature lines of watercolor, palettes and brushes produced by the Jack Richeson Company and has developed the Quiller Color Wheel that is used by artists throughout the world. He has painted professionally in Creede since 1972. He and his wife Marta live in Creede, Colorado and during the sum-mer months run the Quiller Gallery where his works are on view.
