This 1” wide, gray, shabby chic picture frame moulding features a distressed look, utilizing layers of white and gray coloring to achieve a look that is reminiscent of camouflage. The profile is flat across the face, with a small, rounded step down along the outer edge. The rabbet depth is 5/8”, making this gray picture frame ideally suited for matted works on paper, but also capable of framing stretched canvas on small stretcher bars.
This shabby chic gray picture frame is ideally suited for framing prized craft projects such as decoupage, collage, and other DIY projects. Other themes might include winter scenes, industrial cityscapes and landscapes with a weathered feel, and imagery that emphasizes the idea of camouflage, such as Bev Doolittle prints.
