This white fabric frame liner is an excellent addition to several picture frame offerings due to the visual impact and contrast of a white border separating the art from the frame. The profile is 1 ¼” wide, and the rabbet depth is 1/4". The outside depth of this fabric frame liner profile is 5/8”.
The fabric frame liner option is essentially part of a stacked frame combination that is intended for stretched canvases and also thin items that don’t require glazing, such as original paintings on thin hardboard panel or laminated art on board.
For canvases that are stretched, simply secure the art using offset clips and the art will sit back behind the fabric liner. When choosing a frame to house the fabric frame liner, consider the rabbet depth of the frame to ensure that it covers the thickness of the frame liner and art combined.
A few frames to consider with this white fabric frame liner include traditional profiles like V164 and V109, along with more contemporary options like V597 and V485. Another design consideration to make is the width of the frame liner in relation to the width of the frame. For a wider fabric frame liner, consider Linc-wt instead of linb-wt.
