This scooped black rustic picture frame features a deckled burl veneer that sits on a gesso base over a wood substrate. The veneer finish ascends to an embossed ridge that resembles antique decoration with a dusting of light color in the crevices to simulate age.
The profile width is 1-3/4” and the rabbet depth is 1/2”, which means the frame may accommodate 1/2” of material before it starts protruding out the back of the frame. Art materials more than 1/2” thick may be secured to the frame using offset clips.
