This light-colored, simple shadowbox picture frame features the look of wood grain over a gesso base. The width is 3/4” and flat across the face, while the rabbet depth is a generous 1-3/4”. This frame is ideal for original artwork that requires a lot of depth, and also for unique shadowboxes where a light feel is desired.
Botanical art, collage, and bird or butterfly themes are all appropriate pairings with this light-colored shadowbox picture frame moulding. For the creative DIYer, try mounting various printed papers on a background, and then float certain items such as photographs and keepsakes, directly onto the backing material.
