This sophisticated western-style wood picture frame features a gold bead on the face of a dark brown profile that is lighter brown along the inner lip. The profile width is 1 1/8”, and the rabbet depth is 1 3/16”, making this frame ideal for original oil paintings on ¾” stretched canvas.

In addition to framing original work on canvas, you could use this western-style beaded wood picture frame on matted artworks on paper, and thin panels. But especially, consider this sophisticated western-style frame if you are a DIY clockmaker working in a traditional western style.
