Natural softwood panel floater frame features a shallow rabbet depth that is ideal for original art on canvas boards, thin rigid hardboard panels, ceramic tiles, and digital prints mounted to foamcore, gatorfoam, matboard, or other thin materials.
Unlike deeper canvas floater frames, this natural wood panel floater frame is designed specifically for thin art items that are ¼” thick or less. Now there is no need to attach blocks to raise thin artwork to the forefront of your floater frame, saving you essential time when preparing for a gallery show. These frames are what Carol Marine recommends for framing your small works.
Possible mounting materials you could use to mount your artwork to this natural wood panel floater frame include double-stick tape, silicone, dots of co-polymer glue, or Velcro.
